In May 2012, Christina was named the national Amy Writing Awards 1st place $10,000 winner. 

She received her Amy Foundation Award at the Michigan Prayer Breakfast in Lansing, Michigan on May 16, 2012 with more than 800 community leaders, politicians and clergy present. Amy Foundation President James Russell presents Christina with her award below.
